Watchmaking know-how at the service of medical innovation

For over 20 years, easyDec has been pushing the boundaries of microtechnology in Swiss Watch Valley. Accustomed to meeting the most demanding challenges, our company has adapted its skills and industrial environment to meet the stringent requirements of the medical industry.

“easyDec likes to take on the boldest and most complex technological challenges,” explains Emilie Rebetez, the company’s COO. “When the medical industry asked us to deliver tolerances down to the micron, we responded.“

Today, easyDec machines parts with diameters ranging from 1 to 51 mm for applications in the cardiovascular, auditory and ophthalmological fields. These highly precise components are essential to guarantee the reliability and safety of medical devices.

Controlled diversification and ongoing expansion

Thanks to the support of the Acrotec Group’s Medtech division, easyDec has adapted its machinery and processes to the requirements of medtech. We machine medical-grade materials such as titanium, aluminum, medical polymers and 316L stainless steel, while maintaining traceability and extreme tolerances.

To support this strategic diversification, easyDec is currently expanding its production site in Delémont by 2,500 m² and reinforcing its teams, which already number 65 employees. The aim of this investment is to ensure complete process control, from bar turning to final operations, for optimum verticalization.
